How fun! Sophie was a little nervous for her first piano recital (on Peter's birthday), but she was very prepared!! She had two songs to play. 'Happy Family' from the Children's Song Book, and Ode to Joy. She did a great job, and loves playing the piano. Just like her grandma's!!I am so excited to post this recording of the recital, especially so Grandma Canada can hear how well she did!!

I'm not exaggerating when I say that I have now watched this movie 13 times in a row with Shelby on my lap... She keeps saying, "gain gain" and "pretty" and "mamma bop bop!" We LOVE watching Sophie and seeing Grandma's head pop in and out!
Is that Peter singing along in the back ground? We miss you guys!

Bravo!! Sophie did an amazing job. I am still working on What did Mr. Trukey say. It is the only song I learned to play. I look forward to hearing her play more songs.
