OGDEN
Yes, we are hitting the easy ones first. We had to do 2 this month and thought we would do the easy ones. And I just found out that they are doing a major remodel on the Ogden temple starting this year and it will look totally different, so we were glad to get our picture in front of the 'old' Ogden temple.
So this is how the day went down. Karolee came to watch the kids today and we even arranged time to go out to lunch after. Yeah, a date!! Well, the temple went along well and then we headed to the restaurant that we had a gift card for. It is an Ogden only restaurant and we thought this was the perfect chance to use it. Well, on Saturdays it only opens for dinner, starting at 5pm... We couldn't just sit around and wait for it to open so we tried again. The next restaurant was also closed, for lunch!!! Hello - that's what we wanted!!! And the third one we stopped by only opened for dinner too... AAAHHHHHH!!!! We ended up eating in Layton at Famous Dave's. I love BBQ!!! Sorry Rich, he'll get his restaurant next time.
But the day was a success. Temple #2. Done.
