Favorite Friends

Sophie has made a lot of friends this past year, but there is one that she calls her favorite friend. And that is Holly. Holly is the sweetest little girl, just a couple months younger than Sophie, and they have the best times together. They are in the same preschool together and often take turns playing at each others houses after preschool. And they play so well together. Whether it's polly pockets, barbies, outside, or anything. We love having Holly over. And I love watching them play.

Today was no exception. I took the kids on a picinic to a little field by our house. I have driven by it lately and noticed the ground was golden yellow from all the wild dandilions there. Just the other day I noticed the color change from yellow to white. I knew they would have so much fun picking and blowing them to their hearts content. And they did. They ran and played and had flower fights. They made hundreds of wishes blowing on all of the "blowing wishing fairy flowers" like Holly was calling them. And there were still some yellow dandilions so I made the girls flower wreath crowns for them to wear. We ended up being there for almost two hours! We were all dirty and tired when we were finished, but that means we had fun...

It's amazing how two of the cutest little girls in the entire universe ended up in the same preschool. They are so fun to watch. Thanks for taking my sweet little girly along for the picnic. She was in heaven and talked about it all evening.
