This afternoon I went to Antelope Island with my friend Tawna and her 2 boys, Kaimen and Aiden. We had the best time down at the beach. The water has receded a lot this year and we had a far walk, about a mile I'd say, out to the shore from where we parked the car, but it was so fun. The Great Salt Lake is shallow, and so the Sophie and Kaimen ran out so far before we could rope them back into shore. Tawna showed all the kids how to skip rocks. Even Max had a great time sitting in, and splashing around in the water, he was even enjoying snacking on the sand! Before we knew it, we had been out at the beach for 3 hours! We definitely have to go back soon, before it gets cold again.
