Right behind our house is a horse's vet clinic. There are always horses there and the kids love to look at them out of our bedroom window upstairs, andeven better is when we can walk over to see/pet/feed them. Yesterday was no exception as we walked by them on the way home from our picnic. Max, who hated the picnic did a 180* in personality and was LOVING the horses. He always has, since he first noticed them out our window when he was first learning to stand. And Sophie and Peter do too. They were taking the dropped hay from the ground and feeding it to the horse. They laughed and giggled as the horses tounge tickled their hands. Sophie was even helping Max experience it. One time Peter even tried to hug the horse through the fence! Max loved the horse so much he wanted to share his binki, and threw it in! When the horse left I had Sophie retrieve it for me. We all love the horses!

I say it all the time, but it's true. You are mother of the YEAR! Loved your post about each kid. They are darling. And the horse? I can't believe how brave Peter is!
